The differences concern the number of prescriptions and the type of antibiotics prescribed<\/li>\n<li>Regional variability and wide seasonal fluctuations in consumption suggest a use that is not always appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Fluoroquinolone consumption is reduced but areas of inappropriateness remain<\/li>\n<li>2016-2019: consumption in contracted care (provided by public and private pharmacies) reduced by 5.8%, below the target set by the National Antibiotic Resistance Plan (PNCAR) for 2020 (reduction &gt;10%)<\/li>\n<li>2016-2019: hospital consumption increased, despite the slight reduction observed in the last year, while the PNCAR target was a reduction &gt;5%<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Il 29 Dicembre \u00e8 stato presentato il Rapporto Nazionale 2019 \u201cL\u2019uso degli antibiotici in Italia\u201d il quale fornisce dati e analisi sull\u2019andamento di consumi e spesa in Italia per gli antibiotici per uso umano.
