From 20 to 22 September 2022 i Pharma Value and MA Provider SUMA (Start up Market Access) teams met in Val d'Orcia to share training, working methods and professional perspectives.
They were 3 intensive days of reports, discussions, industry training and informal learning which Valeria Viola (Institutional and Regulatory Affairs Consultant and CEO Pharma Value) and Dario Lidonnici (Global Market Access Director at MA Provider) organised and shared with the people working in their teams.
It is unusual that two consulting agencies not only do not compete in business, but manage to create a propulsive synergy.
The key to this partnership lies in Valeria and Dario's shared appreciation of theimportance of relationships and sharing.
The three days in Tuscany were characterised by high-level speeches such as that of prof. Andrea Marcellusi, research fellow at the CEIS-EEHTA, Tor Vergata University of Rome, whose report focused on basic statistics in the health care sector, which was instrumental in enhancing the professional skills of all group members.
Romeo Lippi, business coach and psychotherapist, led the two teams in 'Working on the 24 inner strengths', an interesting path to discovering and strengthening personal skills that, when trained, enable maximum personal and professional productivity.
Maia Mileva-Lopez, market access lead from Otsuka conducted an interesting report on the role of the consultant, suggesting ways and strengths that can be used in client relationships.
There were also several moments of informal sharing and discussionThe afternoon at the thermal baths of Bagno Vignoni, the visit with tasting at the Banfi Winery, the dinners at the Restaurant Enoteca La Terrazza in Bagno Vignoni and at Trattoria il Pozzo, in Sant'Angelo in Colle, because to work well together it is necessary to base relationships on trust, which can be built over time, through professional experience, but also more quickly with free and informal spaces for relations, having a chat over a glass of wine or a gourmet meal.
Opportunities to meet are always valuable for Valeria Viola, as was the case with the 10 years of Pharma Valuein which not only the years of activity were celebrated, but above all the relations and relationships that characterised them.

Pharma Value's work will continue to focus on strategic consulting for clients, with constant drug regulatory and regulatory monitoring, regulatory analysis, institutional relations, competitor analysis, and through dossiers and scenario analyses, such as the New authorisations with centralised procedureor updates on the New simplified P&R negotiation proceduresbut also on ethical principles underlying professional and human experiences.
