These are pictures of a two-day team building and staff meeting in Florence. We are a small group but one that needs care in relationships and shared planning like any workplace.
The first day was dedicated to art and the role of Florentine women, who are only marginally recounted in History with a capital S but (r)exist despite the impossibility of fully expressing their potential and rights. Lucrezia Buti, Lucrezia Tornabuoni, Anna Maria Luisa de' Medici, and Caterina de' Medici are just some of the small and great stories of women that we listened to as we wandered through the city's alleyways and the Uffizi galleries.
We looked to the past for inspiration, hoping to find unprecedented connections to see reality in a new way and from different perspectives.
